I guess we've all been in this situation many times (I've even seen it occur on YouTube playthrough videos):
In Durlag's dungeon, level two: Sometimes it's the middle sparring dummy container that can't be accessed. Sometimes it's the rightmost sparring dummy's container.
In my current run, I first had problems with the rightmost container. But now that I'm reproducing the issue, it's the middle one that's causing trouble, while the rightmost is fine.
It would be great if this issue could be fixed once and for all.
PS. I'm not talking about the situations where the user mistakes the sparring dummy container for the sparring dummy talkable thingy (that weird highlightable thing that one has to click on when attacking the dummy).
PPS. I read somewhere that patience can fix the issue: if a party member tries to access a container, but the sprite can't 'get there', allegedly after a while some auto loot script should kick in and open the container anyhow. In my experience, this does not happen. I've never seen it happen.

The issue here is that the right-most sparring dummy is at co-ordinates 1288.810 instead of x1267.826 (and trying to move back there), and blocking the walkable path.
Could you advise whether you have used a save editor at all, or played this in the multiplayer campaign, or imported from an earlier version of the game, or had any mods installed. One other alternative may be that party members are bumping each other and end up bumping the dummy too.
As for waiting and containers being accessible this is often the case when characters can get within a few pixels but the gap is too large in this case.

I have used EEkeeper to do simple things (change stats, give myself a bag of holding). I can say NO to all your other questions.
