1. Load the attached save.
2. Talk to Canderous (or any other NPC standing nearby) and accept him back in the party.
3. Go to Record screen.
4. Click "Reform Party"
5. Click the time icon or press Space to unapuse the game
The game will unpause possibly leading to Reform Party staying open under other menus (see notes).
It should not be possible to unpause the game and the Quick Save, Help and Time icons should not be shown.
When the game is unpaused on that screen most things can't be interacted with, but when a dialogue window is initiated (for example when a party member removed asks you whether or not you want him back in party), the reform party screen stays open at the bottom (I was once been able to make the screen stuck without triggering conversation too, so there may be other action that can cause it, but I wasn't able to replicate it).
Alternatively, the reform party window could be simply closed whenever a dialogue is initiated, but IMO it doesn't make sense to be able unpause the game when you can't give orders to your party anyway (including moving) and the bottom bar with skills is not appearing.
It's also worth noting that while unlike on Map, Inventory, Character Record, Mage Book, Priest Scroll and Options menu, the buttons for Quick Save, Help and Time appears (and they all work), but since the combat log is hidden, you don't see messages of it happening. Also pressing the location button work, but to see the results, you have to leave the screen. The rest button or hotkey works as well, but unlike the Map, Inventory, Character Record, Mage Book, Priest Scroll and Options, pressing it will not make a popup window with the information that you may not rest here, but show the result to combat log, as other action.
In my opinion it should beahve exactly as Map, Inventory, Character Record, Mage Book, Priest Scroll and Options menu, which make is unable to pause, hides the redundant icons and pressing the Rest button shows a box instead of a message in combat log.
