Description

1) Start the game via Steam
2) Begin gameplay
3) Look at the side bars
4) Look at the playing field

Expected:
Nice crisp graphics like how the original game looks, no blurring.

Observed:
The graphics are blurred, like their upscaled using a bilinear scaler instead of a nearest neighbour/pixellated up/downscaler to retain the original crispness. The same could be said for the contents of the main gameplay field, the effect is amplified when zooming in.

For at least PC users a better quality scaler as a Graphics Option for high-end computer hardware would be greatly appreciated, like Lanczos or an option to revert to the Nearest Neighbour scaler as that's what the aesthetic was originally designed for.

This would improve visual fidelity at the default zoom level and allow me to zoom in without being grossed out by graphics that look like someone smeared Vaseline all over my display.

Smoothing of the gameplay area is intended. We'll consider an option to adjust / disable it.
There is no visible difference in the UI between 1.3 and 2.0, so this would be an enhancement not a regression.
